How to Sew a Throw Pillow with Fringe and a Zipper, Part 2 of 2

Your pillow pieces and fringe from Part One
Pins, scissors and/or rolling cutter, sewing machine, iron, tape, etc from Part One
Salad plate or other round object of similar size

Get a salad plate of something round of similar size.
Rolling cutter method: Lay the plate on the fabric near one corner so the plate intersects the edge of the fabric 2 inches from the point on both sides. On your self healing mat, cut with rolling cutter through both layers, along plate edge. Repeat on other 3 corners.

Lay your front piece right (pattern) side up in front of you with the bottom/notched side closest to you.
Examine your fringe. It looks like hundreds of little tassels formed together. The part of the fringe that looks like little "U"s is what you will machine baste through. The fringy part has probably come sewn together will a single line of stitching to keep it from going every which way. You will remove that single line only when you are all done with the pillow cover.

Lay your piece with the basted fringe on the table in front of you - right side/fringe side up. Carefully smooth the fringe so it is still pointing nicely toward the center.
Upzip the zipper on the other piece. Lay it right side down on top of the fringed piece, making sure that the bottoms are together. Carefully turn the whole thing, that is both pieces of fabric with the fringe in the middle, over.
The back side of the front is now facing up and you can see the basting stitch line. Make sure the sides are all lined up and then pin all the way around, perpendicular to the edges.
