This is a very cool idea and I've been looking for somone who may be able to help me make more of a skirt that I found and you definetely seem like the one to ask! I have a skirt that is a denim skirt at the top and they sewed what looks like a maxi dress to the bottom so it's cute, and form fitting at the top, then begins to fall from the hips and goes to your ankles. VERY CUTE! I wish I knew how to post a few pics of it for you to see it. How do I do that I'd really like to get some help making more of these skirts. I have a few skirts Guess, Mecca and others, as well as a few maxi dresses and would love to use them for this.
